A pair of Paris hard-paste porcelain vases . The oviform body, covered in a purple ground, decorated with two cartouches, one on the left depicting "Madona with grape" in the manner of Pierre Mignard and for the other one on the right "Madona at the chair" in the manner of Raphaël. The reverse with antiques items in a gold manners, and the laurel-wreathed handles enclosing lion mascaroons, on square pedestal base. The famous madona of Raphaël was picked in Italy by the Napoleon's army in 1799 then returned in 1815 to Florence. Marked under the base in red : Deroche rue J.J. Rousseau Paris.
