Bottle vase Hongxian porcelain 1916-1924 Qianlong mark
Jingdezhen porcelain bottle with a very fine decor of childrens game in enamels fencaï of the beginning of period Hongxian. Xiang Chao wrote in 1920 that no ware of the beginning of period carried mark Hongxian but marks Yongzheng or Qianlong. In 1942 Zhao Ruzhen also rewrites that there is not mark Hongxian at the beginning of period and signals that the type of decoration birds, flowers or landscape was left to the advantage of more popular topics to know stages of Chinese life, legends or childrens games. These porcelains are wanted and accomplished in style and way of imperial porcelains Qing to show the equality of the new reign of Yuan Shikai with those of dynasties Qing. Our bottle shows a palette of enamels of a big wealth delicately put down on a swivel decor breaking loose on the nice white of porcelain.
