Ceramics dish of Iznik has decoration called to the four flowers and the broken stem. Generally one finds there: Hyacinth wild rose and tulip borrowed from the Turkish repertory. Here on our specimen one replaced the tulip by the stem of lily of the valley what is not very current and a beautiful artistic effect. The taste for the floral art called Turkish sükûfe is very snuffed by the Othoman elites set on naturalism especially in the third quarter of the XVI ème century. This floral art had acquired all its richness as of the medium of the XVI ème or was invented the famous red of Iznik. The wing of the dish is decorated of a decoration of waves and clouds of the Chinese type “tchi”. Dish dating from the end of the period of Murad III about 1595.
