Lille earthenware butter dish decorated with lambrequin embroiderings and a basket full of flowers circa on 1735
Butter dish with closefitting tray and its cover made of hight firing eartehware in the shape of churn with two handles. Service says as French will appeared on refined tables, the creation of a new container for the butter is then introduced with food on the table.This one accomplished in earthenware has a very fine decoration of rouen type embroiderings pelmets on the tray  as well as outside we can see the famous basket full of flowers which will appeared in 1720. The lid has two notchs and around the gripping button a stylized rose linked to one of a decor of garlands full of flowers which belong to the regency pattern.
